Knowledge can be gained and retained in many ways, using live, first-hand experience which is memorable is essential to this: helping to move knowledge into the long-term memory of our children. Creating experiences which require our children to talk, present and problem solve for varying audience and in a variety of contexts is an important strategy that we use. These big learning episodes/events are carefully packaged within each subject and each year group. Take a look at some of the recent experience led events below.
